Things to know before you Volunteer

Read these tips before you sign up

As of 2014, the minimum age to volunteer is 14. Many volunteers

areas fill up quickly,

so please sign up early. Positions are assigned on an as is basis, job preferences are

considered but not guaranteed. Your volunteer assignment

and additional information

will be sent in advance of the fall fair.  All volunteers must follow the

Waterloo Agricultural Society Code of Conduct.

Benefits of Volunteering

         > All volunteers will be given 1 free Fall Fair ticket on the day they volunteer.

​           > All volunteers are invited to attend a Volunteer Potluck Dinner in

               September following the fair.

​           > Great opportunity for students who require community hours for high 

              school or post secondary.

Annual General Meeting and Dinner

Join us for our Annual General Meeting and dinner where we take the opportunity

to acknowledge and thank our sponsors.   We also elect new member to the Board

and Executive.

Volunteer opportunities are available before, during and after the fair.  We require the services of set up and tear down crews, gate sale thru the week-end (contact Cathy for a detailed schedule) and a variety of other fun volunteer opportunities!
