EDUCATION DAY

Financially Supported by New Hamburg Optimists

Director: Leann Taylor

A half-day educational program for Wilmot students in Grade 4 on the Friday of the fair. There is no charge to students for participating in the program and the only cost to the school is for transportation. Classes can attend either a morning session or an afternoon session. The 2-hour program takes students through several learning stations. Grade 4 students are invited for this program because they have previously been exposed to farming through units in the primary grades. Children in this age range are starting to form their own opinions on many issues, including agriculture. We hope to help them form opinions based on knowledge and understanding.
